About The Rock

Guns & Accessories

The Rock Guns and Accessories was founded by a retired US Army Special Forces veteran. Our aim is to provide the best products and services to our customers in order to meet their firearms needs and build a community around the advancement of firearms knowledge.

We carry rifles, handguns, shotguns, gun parts, tactical gear, and medical gear. We build custom guns in house to include ARs, Bolt-Action rifles, and 1911s. The products we sell are from companies that have been proven in combat and competitions by men and women who apply these tools professionally. We aim to bring that reliability and trust to all of our customers.

We support other veteran companies as much as we can and carry their products. Companies we support and carry include: Aero Precision, Proof Research, Steyr Arms, JP Enterprises, Gerber Knives, Black Rifle Coffee, to name a few.

We aim to keep involved in the community with different types of events and will be hosting FTCC’s Gunsmith Course students in the future. We will host/compete/contribute to fundraising events for organizations such as the Green Beret Foundation on a regular basis.

We offer FREE coffee for visitors, carry great quality products and have a great staff. We look forward to seeing you!

“Our goal is to support veteran owned and operated companies while keeping involved in our community. As we strive to become the best, more importantly than that, we are going to make a difference.”
— Sam, Owner and Founder

"The Rock" Guns is named after the unit my grandfather served with, the 503rd Parachute Regimental Combat Team (PRCT). The 503rd conducted three combat jumps in the Pacific theater during WWII, two in New Guinea and one in the Phillipines.

On 16 February 1945, the 503rd conducted a combat jump onto Corregidor Island in Manila Bay to liberate it from occupying Japanese forces. Braving intense fire, the paratroopers rushed forward and overcame the heavy blockhouse defenses, dropping explosives into embrasures to kill hidden Japanese gunners. For its successful capture of Corregidor, the unit was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation and received its nickname, "the Rock Regiment".

These pictures are of my grandfather, Jesse Castillo as the 503rd prepared for the Corregidor jump. On 19 February, 1945 three days after jumping onto Corregidor, Jesse was blinded by a Japanese sniper and MEDEVACed home. Jesse, in the fighting spirit of a paratrooper, did not let that adversity slow him down and continued on in life to marry the young woman who waited at home for him, become a father of four, an entrepreneur, and fixture in his community.

It is in his spirit and as an homage to him, and to all paratroopers and veterans who paved the way for us, that we aim to serve our customers and our community.
